Vermont State Police Log: Police investigating attempted break-ins

Vermont State Police are looking for help from the public in finding out who attempted to break into three local businesses last week.

When Vermont State Police learned of a bad one-car crash on Deform Road in Leicester on Nov. 13 at around 3:30 p.m., they were told that Collin Bell, 41, of Bristol was unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a totaled 2004 Honda Civic.

After a BMW Mini Cooper crashed on Route 22A in Orwell at a quarter to 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, Vermont State Police responded.

Vermont State Police dealt with two automobile crashes in Addison County this past weekend; no injuries were reported in either.

In the past week, Vermont State police reported a burglary at a home in a state park and reported the stop of an impaired driver, who got citations for several alleged crimes.

Vermont State Police stopped a Shoreham man twice this past weekend for being somewhere he wasn’t supposed to be.

Vermont State Police locally sorted out two multi-car crashes in which people were injured.

A two-car crash in Salisbury on Saturday afternoon tied up Route 7 traffic for a bit, but, fortunately, no one was injured.

Vermont State Police this week sorted out a case that started back in June and resulted in four serious charges against a Goshen woman.
