Last week Vergennes police personnel pulled a Colchester man over for using a cellphone while driving that led to an arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. 

A very serious two-car crash on Bristol Road in Monkton on Monday morning sent two people to the hospital and closed the important north-south artery for at least two hours.
