Marketing & Advertising Account Manager

The Addison Independent is hiring a top-notch advertising representative with sales experience to sell new and service established accounts in and around Addison County. Individual must be excited to represent existing print and digital marketing plans as well as budding new digital platforms. Must enjoy meeting and working with people, have strong written and verbal communication skills and a desire to actively listen and help businesses succeed. Challenging, fast-paced work both within the office and on the road. Must have professional presentation, attention to detail and a creative attitude. This position offers ample opportunity to excel. Commission-based compensation with benefits and flexible work schedule. Excellent opportunity for learning or honing sales/business skills.

Main Job Objectives:
To act as a professional sales and marketing consultant with Addison Press Inc., primarily focusing on the Addison Independent and our digital platforms, but also presenting expanded digital marketing services and sales into special publications. To work directly with business accounts to build marketing campaigns. To be an organized, friendly and supportive “face” of the advertising and marketing branch of the paper, both within the office and in the community. To uphold a high standard for all of our published products, and strive for excellence in every aspect of our business. To embrace new revenue streams and help develop new marketing strategies for clients based on assessed needs in the community.
