SCADS OF KIDS and adults came out to the Middlebury Amtrak station early Sunday evening to drop off some gifts for the less fortunate and to say hello to Santa. It was one of the stops on Vermont Rail System’s effort to help the Marine Corps League of Vermont’s Toys for Kids program. People met Santa, enjoyed a candy cane and donated new, unwrapped toys for children in need across the state. Photos courtesy of Kathryn Torres and Alyssa Provost
