ROBERT B. GRANT

TEXAS — Robert B. Grant, a former Orwell resident, died Dec. 8, 2025. He was born May 30, 1969, in Whitman, Mass., and moved to Vermont in 1979. He graduated from Fair Haven Union High School in 1986.

Robert enlisted in U.S. Army after high school, went to the Korean DMZ for three years, then joined Paratroopers in Tennessee. He worked for Arrow Ext Service for 22 years as manager.

He is survived by wife, Nancy (Carter) Grant in Texas; mother, Hazel D. Pederson Grant; sisters Deb Bushee, Danette Grant and partner Steve Bishop, Meri Supernault and spouse George Supernault, Pam Bishop and spouse Jeff Bishop; nieces, nephew and great nieces and nephews.

He passed away of heart failure and was cremated. Some ashes were released over Lake Lazerne in Texas, a place he loved to go boating. Ashes were also brought back to Vermont.

There will be a celebration of life at Orwell Town Hall May 3 from 1-3 p.m.◊
