Vermont State Police Log: Rochester man cited for assault

Vermont State Police allege that a Rochester man got drunk one day last week, drove to Granville and assaulted a person.

In separate cases, Vermont State Police this past week dealt with a number of traffic accidents in Addison County, two of which resulted in people being cited for impaired driving.

In the only recent activity reported by Vermont State Police in the past week, troopers cited Riley D. Emmons, 23, of South Burlington for driving under the influence in Addison County.

On April 8 at 1 a.m. Vermont State Police responded to a home on Route 125 in Addison for a reported family fight.

Vermont State Police, between March 2 and 10, quieted a few domestic violence situations and cited a couple drivers for operating their vehicles while impaired.

After Vermont State Police stopped a car in Middlebury one day last week, the driver left with a criminal citation and a half-dozen traffic tickets.
