The tandem of John Carver and Paul Fine-Lease prevailed in the Championship Flight of the annual Ralph Myhre Golf Course’s Dud Phinney Member-Guest Tournament, which was held from Aug. 25 to 27.
The Neshobe Golf Club hosted the Vermont Golf Association’s Senior Four Ball Championship on Aug. 16 and 17.

Ralph Myhre Golf Course member Lucas Politano finished in a 10th-place tie at last week’s Vermont Men’s Amateur Championship, held at the Barre Country Club. Politano shot a four-round total of 293, with no single round higher than 74.
Ralph Myhre Golf Course member Brady Fallon won the Boys’ 10-14 Division at a June 28 Vermont Junior Golf Tour tournament held at the Vermont National Country Club.
The teams of Carsen Sanchez and Hogan Beazley and Jack and Kevin Breault were the big winners this past weekend, when Ralph Myhre Golf Course hosted its annual men’s Member-Member Tournament.
Hogan Beazley, a 2019 graduate of Middlebury Union High School, and now Middlebury College as well, has done his namesake proud.
Middlebury College men’s golf coach Bill Beaney, also the college’s former longtime men’s hockey coach, will retire from the golf program he has led for 36 years at the end of this academic year.
The Middlebury College men’s golf team posted a 15-stroke victory in this past Saturday and Sunday’s NESCAC championship tournament, hosted by Bates at the Martindale Country Club in Auburn.
Otter Valley did it again — winning the Division II golfing title for the second year in a row.
The 2021 Division II champion Otter Valley boys’ golf team on Thursday, Oct. 6, qualified to defend its title by finishing second in the qualifying tournament on the Otters’ home course at Neshobe Golf Club.
