Bristol Police Log: Police respond to complaints about dogs

Bristol police have dealt with a couple of animal problems in recent weeks. 

Bristol police on May 30 responded to a call on Airport Drive regarding a local juvenile who had tobacco, marijuana and alcohol. Police issued tickets to the individual. 

In the past several weeks, Bristol police have dealt with multiple loose dogs in the Bristol area. 

Last month, Bristol police responded to a couple of disputes between juveniles in the Bristol area.

Bristol police helped return multiple loose dogs to their owners in the Bristol area between Dec. 5 and 7. 

Bristol police were busy with 88 foot patrols between Oct. 24 and Nov. 20, in addition to five car patrols.

Bristol police are asking for information about a minor car crash that occurred in a Prince Lane parking lot on Saturday, Oct. 22.

Between Sept. 12 and Oct. 16, Bristol police completed 119 foot patrols and 12 car patrols, conducted 51 traffic stops and checked the security at Mount Abraham Union High School 28 times, Bristol Elementary School 23 times and local businesses 22 times. 

In one incident an officer was told someone tried to steal a speaker from a vehicle in the Shaw’s parking lot. In the other, an officer received information about stolen speed signs. 

Bristol police on July 29 received a report of vandalism at the Bristol Teen Hub. Authorities are investigating, and anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact Bristol police at 802-453-2533 and cite incident 22BR002142.

On Saturday, July 16, Bristol police received money found on West Street. The owner can call Bristol police at 802-453-2533 and cite incident 22BR001927 to retrieve the money.
