Vergennes Police Log: Local police have a busy week

Vergennes police dealt with if a variety of incidents between Oct. 16 and 22, including thefts of change from unlocked cars, a couple of accidents, animal problems, a noise complaint, an allegedly indecent photo and a resident with a medical issue.

A Vergennes police officer was the first law enforcement official to respond to a home on McKnight Lane in Waltham on Sept. 15 after the call came in at 7:05 p.m. that Friday that a woman had been shot there, as it turned out fatally.
