Vergennes swimmers cap their summer season

VERGENNES — The Vergennes Swim Team wrapped up its summer season Friday, Aug. 21, with an intramural meet in which 32 members between the ages of 8 and 12 competed in each of the disciplines.  The Champs had honored their senior swimmers the week before. In all, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the need to follow many safety protocols, and the cancellation of the regular Champlain Valley Swim League season, 64 swimmers signed on.
