Younger members of the Ralph Myhre Golf Course have grabbed most of the recent headlines. On July 20, Brady Fallon won the Vermont Golf Association Boys’ 10-14 Match Play Championship at the Kwiniaska course.
Despite severe weather, Ralph Myhre Golf Course members managed to squeeze in some action last week.
Ralph Myhre Golf Course member Lucas Politano finished in a 10th-place tie at last week’s Vermont Men’s Amateur Championship, held at the Barre Country Club. Politano shot a four-round total of 293, with no single round higher than 74.
Ralph Myhre Golf Course member Brady Fallon won the Boys’ 10-14 Division at a June 28 Vermont Junior Golf Tour tournament held at the Vermont National Country Club.
Hogan Beazley, a 2019 graduate of Middlebury Union High School, and now Middlebury College as well, has done his namesake proud.
Paul Fine-Lease and Nick Arnold were medalists in the Ralph Myhre Golf Course 2022 Dud Phinney Member Guest tournament, which was played at the Middlebury course on July 29-31.
Ralph Myhre Golf Course member Steve Huestis earlier in July scored a hole-in-one. Huestis accomplished the rare feat on Hole No. 12.
