Letter to the editor: Attack in letter was ‘unworthy’

Dave Silberman’s personal attack on Jim Douglas seems as ill-informed as it was manifestly uncivil.

His lawsuit is a farce and an abuse of our court system’s limited resources.

Mark is a veteran police officer from Vergennes who boasts that among his proudest accomplishments in his long career is never having a physical altercation with a civilian.

I write to endorse Rep. Peter Conlon for another term for the Vermont House representing Cornwall, Goshen, Leicester, Ripton and Salisbury.

Of all the folks I’ve met in the State House, Becca Balint stands out as particularly authentic in her desire to serve the public, and not being in it for herself.

The Addison County Democratic Committee has forwarded three names to Gov. Phil Scott to consider as he prepares to appoint a new state’s attorney to replace Dennis Wygmans, who held that job until May 7.
