VERGENNES — The Middlebury Union High School dance team took third in the Hip Hop discipline at this past Saturday evening’s championship competition, which was staged at Vergennes Union High School.
The judges placed the Tigers behind only first-place Mount Mansfield and runner-up Lamoille.
All three teams qualified to attend the New England Dance Championships on Saturday, March 14, in Enfield, Conn.
Mount Mansfield also won the Jazz discipline followed by Lamoille, and South Burlington.
South Burlington prevailed in Pom, with Colchester second and Mount Anthony in third.
