Are your kids ready for Spooktacular this Sunday?

Experience Middlebury and the downtown business owners are thrilled to bring back the Main Street Trick-or-Treating parade through downtown Middlebury. The annual Spooktacular event will take place on Oct. 25.

It starts a little earlier this year. Parade attendees will gather on the Middlebury town green, starting at 11 a.m. on Sunday morning.
At 11:30 a.m. the parade takes off, led by the one-and-only Spooktacular Witch (don’t worry, she’s the friendly variety of witch). Kids dressed in costume will follow the Witch in a long procession through the heart of Middlebury. They will cross at the post office and then walk up Main Street to Canon Park.
With assisted crossing guards, the parade will cross Main Street to the newly refurbished and beautiful Ilsley Library, then will march back up Main Street, finishing in Triangle Park by the fountain.

If that’s not exciting enough for you — shopkeepers and volunteers will be handing out candy on route, as well as along Merchants Row and in Triangle Park.
Dress up and take to the streets for this fun and festive celebration of Halloween!

Other attractions will include:

• WVTK vehicle will be parked at Triangle Park to offer a festive sound track for the spooky affair
• Kid friendly Yard Games will be set up in Triangle Park
• Photo booth opportunity to capture great costumes and fun times!

Organizers thanked the Middlebury Shaw’s supermarket for their generous donation of candy for Spooktacular!
