MUHS boy’s tennis team defeats community all-stars

After Community Team MIT defeated the Tiger boys’ varsity team last year, the high schoolers roared back this year to beat their elders in a match played at Middlebury Indoor Tennis on Saturday.

Top-seeded Colchester on Wednesday night, Feb. 28, ended the No. 8 seeded Middlebury Union High School boys’ hockey season in dramatic fashion, 4-3 in a Division II quarterfinal’s second overtime period.

The No. 6 seeded Middlebury Union High School girls’ hockey team won its opening quarterfinal Division II playoff game last week, but came up short in the semifinal round. The Tigers finished their season at 10-12.
