One killed, another seriously injured in Orwell crash on Sunday

Twenty-eight-year-old Michael Guess, who was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, was a passenger in the vehicle driven by Aron G. Therrien, 27.

Troopers stopped two different Vermont men in Addison County this past week and cited them for driving under the influence of drugs.

First responders located Howard Doyle, 45, of Rochester dead in a vehicle near the scene of a reported incident off Bettis Road. Apparently this incident arose from a dispute involving individuals who knew each other.

Vermont State Police are asking for help finding the two people who broke into the Four Corners Store in Addison on Nov. 22.

Troopers in Addison County dealt with three impaired driving cases and a fatal two-car crash in the past week.

Authorities on Friday confirmed that body found in a field near The Knoll, was Lia Smith.

Vermont State Police were notified of a missing person identified as a vulnerable adult this past Thursday, Aug. 7, and they activated a search for the 73-year-old Ferrisburgh woman.

The Vermont State Police is investigating a shooting that occurred the evening of Tuesday, July 29, in Cornwall. No one was injured in the shooting.

State Police stopped a vehicle on Little Chicago Road in Ferrisburgh on July 22, discovered that the driver didn’t have a valid driver’s license and ultimately cited him for DUI.
