Ultimate drops its season opener

Visiting Rice bested the Middlebury Union High School Ultimate team on April 17 in the Tigers’ opening game of the spring. The final score was 15-4.

Visiting Burlington defeated the Middlebury Union High School girls’ Ultimate team on Tuesday, 12-5. The Seahorses used a balanced attack to improve to 9-0. 

The Middlebury Union High School girls’ Ultimate team split two recent home games, battling both their foes and windy conditions in each. The Tigers are 2-2.

Thursday and Friday saw the MUHS Ultimate teams score their first wins of the season.

Host South Burlington defeated the Middlebury Union High School girls’ Ultimate team on Tuesday, 15-4.

The Middlebury Union High School girls’ ultimate team earned its first victory of the spring on Tuesday, 10-1 over visiting Mount Mansfield.

The Middlebury Union High School girls’ ultimate team dropped a pair of recent contests to Montpelier and Burlington, while the Tiger boys’ team won in the only game for which results were available.
