Girls’ Ultimate clinic scheduled
MIDDLEBURY — Teenage girls interested in learning more about the game of Ultimate, played with tossed discs, are invited to an afternoon clinic on Sunday, Oct. 20, that will be run by Middlebury Union High School Ultimate Coach and teacher Michelle Steele.
Steele said the free event, intended for female-identifying players between the ages of 13 and 18, is sponsored by USA Ultimate and the Girls’ Ultimate Movement and will be held at the Middlebury Recreation Department fields.
She described it as a fun clinic with some drills, skill building, and a scrimmage, as well as a chance to build community and give girls a chance to experience ultimate.
More information and a registration link are available from Steele at [email protected].
