MUHS girls’ hockey enter playoffs

The 2025 runners-up ended the regular season 9-10.

Both the men’s and women’s Middlebury College hockey teams won close games to make the NESCAC semifinals.

Both MUHS and VUHS must defeat the number one seeds to earn spots in the finals.

The Tigers ended the regular season 13-6-1 overall, and 8-3-1 among fellow DII teams.

All three local high school boys’ basketball teams are slated to begin their playoff bids this Wednesday, March 4.

John Montgomery would have liked to take on another term, but was recently deployed to train foreign soldiers overseas.

The Tigers brought their record to 11-6-1 with a 7-2 win over St. Johnsbury on home ice this past Saturday.

The state meet was the final competition for local gymnasts this season

Two MUHS skiers took first place in the freestyle competition, and one earned title and another took second in classic.

The Division II Tigers lost to the combined DI team from Burlington and Colchester on Saturday, and this coming weekend have another tough game against the DI BFA St. Albans team.
