Update: Wednesday meeting should determine city manager’s status

VERGENNES — Vergennes City Manager Daniel Hofman’s future in his job apparently remained to be determined after a 40-minute, closed-door city council session on Tuesday night. After the closed session, the council voted that Mayor Lynn Donnelly and Councilor Jill Murray-Killon should speak with Hofman in a meeting that was scheduled to occur this past Thursday.
