Bristol Police Log: Police asking for information on car crash

Bristol police are asking for information about a minor car crash that occurred in a Prince Lane parking lot on Saturday, Oct. 22.

Between Sept. 12 and Oct. 16, Bristol police completed 119 foot patrols and 12 car patrols, conducted 51 traffic stops and checked the security at Mount Abraham Union High School 28 times, Bristol Elementary School 23 times and local businesses 22 times. 

In one incident an officer was told someone tried to steal a speaker from a vehicle in the Shaw’s parking lot. In the other, an officer received information about stolen speed signs. 

Bristol police on July 29 received a report of vandalism at the Bristol Teen Hub. Authorities are investigating, and anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact Bristol police at 802-453-2533 and cite incident 22BR002142.

On Saturday, July 16, Bristol police received money found on West Street. The owner can call Bristol police at 802-453-2533 and cite incident 22BR001927 to retrieve the money.

On June 25 Bristol police recovered a green Nishiki bicycle from Pine Street and put out a call for anyone who had lost a bike.

On April 12, Bristol police received a report from Mountain Street that an unknown person had scratched a vehicle sometime between April 11 and 12.

On March 19, Bristol police responded to a report of a family fight on Morgan Horse Lane and arrested Jeannette Marcum, 45, of Bristol, citing her for domestic assault.

Between Feb. 21 and 27 Bristol police completed three foot patrols, conducted three traffic stops, and checked security at Mount Abraham Union High School seven times, at Bristol Elementary School seven times, and at local businesses six times.

On Feb. 19, after responding to a report of a family fight on Main Street, Bristol police arrested April Brennen, 39, of Bristol and cited her for domestic assault.

On Feb. 6, during a traffic stop, Bristol police cited Lonny McCray Jr., 34, of Bristol for driving with a criminally suspended license.

On Jan. 21 at 3 a.m. Bristol police responded to a burglar alarm at the Walgreens Pharmacy on 1 Prince Lane and determined two unknown males had forced entry, entered the store and left the area in what appeared to be maroon-colored Jeep Liberty.
