Bristol Police Log: Police respond to vehicle break-ins
BRISTOL — Bristol police on Feb. 14 responded to Garfield Street for multiple vehicle break-ins.
That same day Bristol police received a report of an unlocked vehicle having been rummaged through. Police said no property was reported missing.
Between Feb. 9 and 15 Bristol police completed 16 foot patrols and one car patrol, conducted 16 traffic stops and checked security at Mount Abraham Union High School seven times, at Bristol Elementary School eight times and at local businesses two times.
Police also processed nine fingerprint requests and verified one vehicle identification number.
In other recent activity, Bristol police:
- On Feb. 9 responded to a motor vehicle complaint on West Street. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.
- On Feb. 10 located the owner of a vehicle parked on Main Street that was interfering with snow removal. The vehicle was moved.
- On Feb. 14 found two wallets on Prince Lane and contacted the owners.
- On Feb. 14 assisted Mount Abraham Union High School with a truancy concern.
- On Feb. 15 responded to Spring Street for a reported vandalism to a resident’s window. An investigation is ongoing.
