An artistic legacy: Bristol exhibition spotlights work from mother and daughter

A collaboration between Bristol Suites and local artist Brenda Myrick has led to new exhibition at the inn, which features paintings by Myrick her late mother, Barbara Lane.

Bristol artist Brenda Myrick will present “Stillness in Motion — Horses, Birds, and Spirit Animals,” at the Shelburne Wine and Coffee Annex Gallery. 

The new Plank Road Art Stand and Gifts, run by Bristol resident and artist Brenda Myrick, operates out of a converted pony trailer parked in front of Myrick’s home.

The Jackson Gallery presents an exhibition of paintings by mother and daughter, Barbara Lane and Brenda Myrick.
