LEGO contest returns to Vergennes

Bixby Memorial Free Library and the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Vergennes will hold their 6th annual Lego Contest and Exhibit on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.., at the library.

The fifth annual Bixby Free Memorial Library Lego Contest once again drew a large field of contestants and then a big crowd to the city landmark to celebrate the presentation of their creations and hear the announcement of the winners on Feb. 25. 

For many of Addison County’s Latin American migrant farmworkers, the road to Vermont is a difficult one. The journey is expensive, dangerous and often means leaving behind your family and community without the guarantee that you will return.
