MONKTON — Over 100 Monkton residents filed into Monkton Central School for their town’s annual meeting this past Saturday. At that meeting, voters fielded an amended general fund expenditures request of $1,007,324.89, an increase of 14.75% over the current year, with around $867,531 to be raised in taxes.
