Letter to the editor: Bernstein supported for House

Ruth Shattuck Berstein is running to represent you — and everyone in Benson, Orwell, Shoreham, and Whiting — in the Vermont House of Representatives. Ruth has a long history of being active in the community and speaking up even when her voice is in the minority. Ruth was born and raised in Vermont and is raising her three children in Shoreham. Her life experiences, as well as her work in local schools, libraries, and social service agencies give Ruth a deep understanding of the strengths of our communities as well as the challenges we face.
With a focus on outreach and involvement, Ruth interacts with the community and advocates for the needs of others. Ruth actively seeks the opinions, experiences and voices of others and will continue to actively engage the community to better understand and address the needs. Ruth will take a level-headed approach and will consider the many perspectives of our communities. Vermont is at a turning point and we need a blend of forward thinking along with the common sense approach Vermont has always relied on. As your representative, Ruth will work for the best future for our towns and state.
Please vote and when you vote, please consider voting for Ruth.
