Endangered bat habitat conserved
THE VERMONT FISH and Wildlife Department is looking to conserve this parcel of land in Addison County, which provides key habitat for two federally endangered bat species. In order to protect the bats, the department won’t disclose the exact location.

The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department is putting $566,667 in grant money toward conserving land used by some of the state’s most vulnerable residents — Indiana and Northern long-eared bats.
