Make-a-Wish comes to Middlebury

MIDDLEBURY’S WILL GILLESPIE and his mother Anne Goldman smile for the camera in the shaded area of Will’s new sensory garden. The garden was constructed in Will’s backyard through donations made to the Make-A-Wish foundation, which provides life-changing wishes to children with serious medical needs. The garden incorporates natural elements and considers Will’s sensory needs to create a unique space for him and his family. Independent photo/Steve James

Make-a-Wish Vermont and Northern New York created a sensory garden for eleven-year-old Will Gillespie of Middlebury.
