Field Days sheep shearer keeps her craft vibrant
VETERAN SHEARER SIRI Swanson carefully shaves a Finnsheep at the Addison County Fair and Field Days on Tuesday. The three to four pounds of wool were immediately gathered by a member of the Twist O’ Wool Guild to be used for demos later in the afternoon.

At the Addison County Fair and Field Days, a quiet but steady draw on the Agricultural Stage on Tuesday was a sheep shearing demonstration by professional shearer Siri Swanson.
