Young shepherds become heritage breed ambassadors

The past several months have been busy for 11-year-old Olivia Gordon and 13-year-old Natalie Layn. The Bristol residents, who are cousins, were among 13 young people from around the country selected to take part in this year’s Youth Conservationist Program, through which participants receive yearling female sheep to start their own flocks.
