Historic Ripton tavern site commemorated

RIPTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY and the Green Mountain District of the U.S. Forest Service celebrated more than two years of cooperative work at the installation of the Calvin Pier Tavern historic Maker in Ripton. Ripton Historical Society and the Green Mountain District of the U.S. Forest Service met at the historic Calvin Pier Tavern site on Halloween, Tuesday, Oct. 31, to celebrate more than two years of cooperative work.
