Letter to the editor: Vote for incumbents Cordes, Elder in Addison-4
We appreciated the convenience, safety, and security of voting early this election. We received our ballots automatically from the Secretary of State because we were already registered voters and we promptly filled them out and hand-delivered them to the secure ballot box outside Holley Hall in Bristol. We checked the My Voter Page website MVP.Vermont.gov and know our ballots were received and are ready to be counted.
In the Addison-4 Vermont House of Representatives race we voted for incumbent Mari Cordes. Here’s why:
Her work over the past two years representing Bristol, Lincoln, Monkton and Starksboro in the House has been strong. She is responsive, fair, and understands the challenges and opportunities in our community.
Mari is a full-time working nurse and union leader; she knows how hard it is to balance work and life’s responsibilities. She prioritized accessible health care and support for unemployed Vermonters when the COVID crisis hit.
She is committed to policies supporting our children (child care, education), our environment, our farms, and to create more jobs (a clean energy economy!).
Please join us in voting for Mari Cordes and her fellow House incumbent Caleb Elder.
