VUHS wrestlers split with Tigers and Spaulding

VERGENNES — At a wrestling meet this past Wednesday at Vergennes Union High School, visiting Spaulding defeated both VUHS and Middlebury, while the Commodores topped the Tigers.
Spaulding bested MUHS, 60-18, and VUHS, 43-32, while VUHS outscored MUHS, 48-18.
The match results were:
VUHS 48, MUHS 18
For VUHS, Parker Kayhart, Aiden Gebo, Taylor Stearns, Gabe Kadric, Barret Barrows and Gabe Payne-Vinick won by forfeit, as did Nick Sheldrick for MUHS.

•  At 145 Brian Whitley, M, defeated Jeremiah Moulton, V, 2-1.

For VUHS, Kayhart and Barrows won by forfeit.
