Letter to the editor: ‘Mama Mia’ crew thankful for support

Anyone who grocery shops for their household knows how expensive it is to put food on the table right now. When a group of parent volunteers began discussions for how to feed the cast and crew of Vergennes Union High School’s production of Mamma Mia during their technical rehearsals/performance week, we knew we’d need some community support to help our dollars stretch as far as possible.

The MUHS girls’ Nordic ski team on Friday completed its dominant performance in the two-day Division II championship meet by trouncing all comers in freestyle races in Craftsbury.
