Man accused of driving 92 mph in 40-mph zone

SALISBURY — A Salisbury man on Wednesday was scheduled to answer to a charge of “excessive speed” in Addison Superior Court after Vermont State Police alleged they clocked him traveling 92 miles per hour in a 40-mph zone on Shard Villa Road on Tuesday.
It was at around 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday that some Shard Villa Road residents called VSP about “motorists speeding” in their neighborhood, according to authorities. Police stopped 24-year-old Brandon Ciaramitaro in connection with the complaint. In addition to the excessive speed charge, Ciaramitaro was issued two tickets totaling $870 and he was assessed eight points against his license, according to state police.
