MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury police cited Katherine Robinson, 22, of Weybridge for driving under the influence on Painter Road on Sept. 3 at 8:25 p.m.

Police said they measured Robinson’s blood-alcohol content at 0.243 percent, which is more than three times the state’s legal limit of 0.08 percent.

In other action last week, Middlebury police:

•  Assisted a Cross Street resident who was having a mental health issue on Aug. 31.

•  Investigated a report that a former employee of an Exchange Street business was placing harassing phone calls to current workers at that business on Aug. 31.

•  Served a no-trespass order on a former employee of a Merchants Row business on Aug. 31.

•  Contacted the municipal water department about a system leak in the Pond Lane area on Aug. 31.

•  Issued a no-trespass order on Sept. 1 on a person who was not wanted on Middlebury College campus.

•  Issued a juvenile citation to a Middlebury Union High School student who allegedly assaulted another student at the school on Sept. 2.

•  Responded to an unlawful mischief complaint on Middlebury College campus on Sept. 2.

•  Received a report from a man who said the tires on his vehicle were slashed while parked in downtown Middlebury on Sept. 2.

•  Responded to a dispute between two drunken people at a Painter Road residence on Sept. 2. Police said the dispute was only verbal.

•  Warned two women for violating the town’s open container law on Maple Street on Sept. 2. Police added one of the women was also warned for violating the town’s public urination ordinance.

•  Investigated an alleged trespassing complaint at a South Pleasant Street address on Sept. 3.

•  Responded to a report that two vehicles had been vandalized while parked at the municipal parking lot off Frog Hollow Road on Sept. 3.

•  Responded to a report of a barking dog in the Court Street area on Sept. 3.

•  Responded to a landlord-tenant dispute at a Cedar Court residence on Sept. 3.

•  Helped locate a man in Catamount Park who was in need of medical services on Sept. 3.

•  Investigated a complaint about a barking dog in the Butternut Ridge Drive neighborhood on Sept. 3.

•  Responded to a report of a family fight at an East Main Street residence on Sept. 3.

•  Cited James Turner, 26, of Shoreham for driving with a suspended license on Court Street Extension on Sept. 3.

•  Cited Roger H. Stone Jr., 71, of Salisbury for driving under the influence, following a stop on Exchange Street on Sept. 4. Police said they measured Stone’s blood-alcohol content at 0.117 percent.

•  Assisted a Sugarwood Court resident who reported receiving a threatening phone call on Sept. 4.

•  Helped an Exchange Street business owner who reported receiving unwanted text messages — possibly from a past employee — on Sept. 4.

•  Investigated a report of a suicidal man at a North Pleasant Street home on Sept. 4. Police said they determined the man was not suicidal, but that he was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant out of Orleans County.

•  Responded to a report of a naked child chasing a dog down Case Street into the cemetery on Sept. 4. Police located the child and dog and took back them to their home.

•  Received a report about the alleged sexual abuse of a local child on Sept. 4. Police said the case remains under investigation.

•  Served a temporary restraining order on a local man on Sept. 4.

•  Assisted an East Middlebury woman who had been receiving unwanted phone calls on Sept. 4.

•  Issued court diversion paperwork to an MUHS student who was found to be in possession of marijuana on Sept. 4.

•  Received into evidence a bag of marijuana that had been found at MUHS on Sept. 4.

•  Assisted Bristol police with a suicidal man on East Street on Sept. 4.

•  Cited Ryan Whipple, 37, of Naugatuck, Conn., for driving under the influence, following a traffic stop on Court Street on Sept. 5. Police said Whipple declined to submit to a breath test.

•  Assisted a Route 7 business with an unwanted guest who had an outstanding bill on Sept. 5.

•  Cited Zachary Thomas, 27, of Bomoseen for driving under the influence at the intersection of College and Weybridge streets on Sept. 5. Police said they measured Thomas’s blood-alcohol content at 0.89 percent.

•  Were informed that a fallen tree had possibly taken down some power lines on Schoolhouse Hill Road on Sept. 6.

•  Assisted a North Pleasant Street woman who had received a visit from an unwelcome man on Sept. 6.

•  Assisted Vermont State Police on a report of some gun shots heard in the Route 125 West area on Sept. 6.

•  Investigated a report of a possible drunken driver on Court Street on Sept. 6. Police said they could not find the vehicle in question.

•  Responded to a report on Sept. 7 of a hole in the sidewalk serving the Merchants Row rail bridge. Police said the hole has been blocked off until public works officials can fix it.
