VUHS shares honor roll

Vergennes Union High School has released its honor roll for the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year.

“We may find there is no use for AI in schools; that may be where we land. I feel that we have a responsibility to have bigger conversations with students about AI.”

VUHS grads, their families and Bernie Sanders came together on Friday, June 12, to celebrate.

MUHS, VUHS and Mt. Abe athletes garnered recognition for their spring seasons.

Three different prominent Vermont politicians will be in Vergennes over the coming days.

Twenty-one Commodore athletes ran, hurdled and threw at the meet, setting a collective 21 personal bests across 12 running events and one throwing event, despite the hot and sunny weather.

The team is going into the quarterfinal round with a 4-10 record and two recent wins under their belts.

Both local teams nabbed top three playoff seeds.

Three local high school teams earned top 3 seeds for this week’s playoffs.

The VUHS nine have one game left this season, and a 2-10 record.

The Tigers and Commodores both found themselves in nailbiters in the past week.

The team scored 14 runs on the Commodores with a series of singles and doubles.

Mt. Abe and VUHS athletes competed at Milton and Champlain Valley Union this past week.

MUHS defeated Spaulding, 24-16, and VUHS lost to Richford, 23-11.
