Letter to the editor: Local runners were successful this track season

At the NCAA Division III Championships in Geneva, OH on May 24, MUHS grad Isabel Olson placed 8th in the 1500m with a time of 4:34.93 and was named a first team All-American, her second such designation as she had accomplished it in cross country last fall.

VUHS scores points in D-III track

Letter to the editor: Middlebury track deserves more ink, exposure

The Middlebury men’s track team won the NESCAC Championship on April 26 and the Panther women placed fourth, but I have seen no mention of it in the Addison Independent, yet there has been extensive coverage of lacrosse and baseball.

Eagle track & field teams win at own meet

In a six-team Tuesday track and field meet at Mount Abraham at which teams from all three Addison County high schools competed, the host Eagle girls’ and boys’ teams fared best among the local contingent.
