Middlebury hires Karin Mott as town clerk

Karin Mott, a longtime manager at the Middlebury Natural Foods Co-op, will succeed Ann Webster as Middlebury’s new town clerk.

“When I first came, there was a lot of organizing to do,” said Ann Webster. “The first time I opened up the downstairs vault, there was so much stuff in there — even on the floor — you had to step on things.”
