Man shot in Starksboro residence

STARKSBORO — A 30-year-old man was injured after “a weapon was discharged inside the residence” at 38 Hillside Drive in Starksboro Friday morning in an incident Vermont State Police are calling a “weapons offense.” At 6:51 a.m. troopers from the VSP New Haven barracks, along with detectives assigned to the Criminal Division, responded to the residence after receiving “a suspicious complaint that had originated in the town of Starksboro,” according to a press release issued by state police Friday afternoon. … (read more)
