Does the Senator not believe the basically undisputed Mahdawi facts presented by the media? Did he simply not see them? If a legal resident, and liked and respected member of a Vermont community is not safe, who else is not safe?
Many of us in Vermont have friends in Canada or other countries, and we are concerned about the current administration in Washington. Many people overseas are thoroughly horrified.
President Trump states that it is easier to deal with Russian President Putin than with Ukrainian President Zelensky, possibly because Mr. Trump seems unwilling to listen to anything negative about Putin.
Clearly it is a tax that will hit middle- and lower-income people hardest. In addition, it will place an unfair burden on the local fuel dealers, mostly long-established family businesses.
Perhaps the biggest problem caused by unlimited money is the fact that large corporate donors will probably expect something from candidates they support.
