Vergennes Police Log: Thieves try to steal an ATM

Vergennes police responded to the report of a burglary at Kinney Drugs in the Little City on May 8.

Middlebury police last week were kept busy responding to more than a dozen reports of vehicle break-ins in and around the village area.

Middlebury police were called to a multi-person fight in the South Pleasant Street area on April 16

There was damage to the entranceway of the convenience store, plus the vehicle that crashed was deemed a total loss.

Last week Vergennes police personnel pulled a Colchester man over for using a cellphone while driving that led to an arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. 

Bristol police on March 28 were told of a vehicle that was being driven erratically on West Street.
