Board discusses closure of Whiting Pre-K, scaling back Leicester school

The Otter Valley Unified Union school board is exploring potential reconfiguration and closure of district elementary schools including Otter Creek Academy schools in Leicester and Whiting.

Otter Valley Union Middle & High School will unveil its new welding lab at an open house on Sept. 25.

Saturday’s high school football game saw momentum shifts between Otter Valley and the cooperative Mount Abraham-Vergennes team. It turned the host Eagles’ way in the second half, when MAV outscored the Otters, 18-0, to claim a 36-27 victory.
