Letter to the editor: Fireworks show was well done

Kudos to the town of Middlebury, the American Legion, and the Recreation Department staff.

What’s your new year’s resolution? Want to watch more live music? Want to learn how to dance? Want to have a great time? Start one day early and come to Town Hall Theater on Dec. 31, from 8 p.m. ’til midnight, to see and dance along to Joe’s Big Band.

Completing an 18-year run as a co-founder of the well-known Vermont quartet Twiddle, Mihali and the other three members of the band are taking an “indefinite hiatus” to “explore their individual creative pursuits and spend more time with their families.”

Thanks to the generous support from American Legion Post 27, New Year’s Eve fireworks and free ice skating will return again this year.
