Mt. Abe grads urged to be wary of AI, show heart

Class President Charlie Prouty delivered a strong message at the MAUHS commencement ceremony on Saturday.

The Mt. Abe baseball team has scored over 10 runs in both of its playoff games so far.

“As you step onto that stage Saturday, know that we are cheering you on, confident and excited for the bright futures you are about to build.”

Both teams have recent wins under their belts.

The team has a state championship to defend.

All three local baseball teams had playoffs on their minds on Wednesday.

Both local teams nabbed top three playoff seeds.

Christopher Nichols has spent 21 years working in the classroom and four years as an administrator. He’s worked at both the middle school and high school level

Christopher Nichols will step into the role, which is a new position that’s been created for grades 7-8 at Mount Abraham Union Middle School.

Mt. Abe and VUHS athletes competed at Milton and Champlain Valley Union this past week.

The Mt. Abe softball squad is 7-1 this season.

Next year, the Bristol school will have one principal for grades 7-8, along with one high school principal for grades 9-12 and an assistant principal.

The candidates were selected from nearly 3.6 million students expected to graduate from U.S. high schools in the year 2023.
