Eagle field hockey aims high

The Mt. Abe stickers’ first games of the season have been against teams in higher divisions.

Mt. Abe has yet to lose this season.

The Eagles defeat Milton, 28-7, under the lights in Bristol.

The Mount Abraham Unified School District announced that it has hired 30 new employees for the 2026-2027 school year.

Gabriel Billings, who has experience at the college level as an athletic director, is due in the Mt. Abe AD office next week.

MUHS, VUHS and Mt. Abe athletes garnered recognition for their spring seasons.

Class President Charlie Prouty delivered a strong message at the MAUHS commencement ceremony on Saturday.

All three local teams took at least one loss in the past week.

Christopher Nichols will step into the role, which is a new position that’s been created for grades 7-8 at Mount Abraham Union Middle School.

Mt. Abraham Union Middle/High School joined 153 of the top quiz bowl teams in Chicago for the 2026 Small School National Championship Tournament.
