Monkton gears up for Town Meeting Day

Town Meeting is Saturday, Feb. 28, starting at 10 a.m. at the Monkton Central School.

Monkton offers Minibeats, a chance to hear author and Vermont historian Kevin Graffagnino speak about his new book, and Toddler Storytime at the Russell Memorial Library.

Art night, poetry club, Sunday yoga and historical society meetings are just some of the events coming up in Monkton.

You are invited to a Puzzlepalooza at the Russell Memorial Library on Thursday, Dec. 18, where teams will attempt to complete the same 500-piece puzzle first.

Welcome Winter at the historic East Monkton Church Association’s celebration, held on Sunday Dec. 14, at 2 p.m.

The Monkton Friends Methodist Church invites you to join them for their annual Holiday Bazaar. 

If you missed Monkton Day, no worries – you can watch a video of the event on Sunday afternoon.

The Monkton Museum and Historical Society will host a walk around Beers Cemetery on Oct. 19 and talk about Tory Rocks on Oct. 20.
