Otter Valley, Politano win golf state titles — again

The Otter Valley golf team came away with both the Division II individual and team hardware on Thursday in the high school championship tournament held at the Burlington Country Club.

Youth was served at the 2024 Ralph Myhre Club Championship, as Otter Valley Union High School senior Lucas Politano emerged as the winner of the men’s Championship Flight in a tournament contested on Aug. 24 and 25. 

In a busy recent stretch for Ralph Myhre Golf Course and its members, the highlight was member Lucas Politano’s participation in the New England Junior PGA Championship held at Shaker Hills Country Club in Harvard, Mass., on July 1 and 2.

Otter Valley Union High School junior Lucas Politano repeated as the Division II boys’ golf medalist on Tuesday by shooting a four-over-par 75 at the Basin Harbor Club golf course in Ferrisburgh on Tuesday.

Ralph Myhre Golf Course’s Lucas Politano won the New England Junior PGA Championship on June 28 and 29 at the Shaker Hills Country Club in Harvard, Mass.
