Apply for grazing grants by the end of June

There hasn’t been a better time to apply for the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Marketing’s Farm Agronomic Practices Program (FAP).

The Vermont Housing and Conservation Board is offering grants as large as $40,000 to farmers for projects that help protect water quality.

St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church of Middlebury is using money earned through its annual Peasant Market to offer grants to the community. 

The South Lake Champlain Fund supports projects focused on education and research concerning the cultural and ecological history and heritage of Southern Lake Champlain.

The Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP) seeks proposals for projects that support local watershed groups and provide opportunities for informing and involving the public in Lake Champlain outreach initiatives in the Lake Champlain watershed.

ACORN was one of eight project proposals to share $324,467 in Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets grants to help fruit, vegetable, and value-added producers increase consumer access to locally produced food.

The Vermont Community Foundation recently announced that its Spark Connecting Community grant program has awarded $48,080 to 17 nonprofit organizations for projects focusing on creative placemaking in communities across the state.

The Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP), in partnership with NEIWPCC has announced a Request for Technical Pre-Proposals for services to further the goals and objectives of the Lake Champlain management plan Opportunities for Action.

The Working Lands Enterprise Board (WLEB) is seeking applications for funding of projects that will allow a Vermont farm, food or forest business to invest in and scale-up their business.

Teachers of all age levels are encouraged to develop proposals of up to $800 to support the Otter Creek Audubon Society mission of encouraging a culture of conservation.
