“The Vermont Department of Libraries has awarded 148 public libraries — including 11 in Addison County — grants of $350 to support 2026 summer programming for children and teens. “

With the help of the grants awarded by the Vermont Women’s Fund, nonprofits in Addison County are able to continue to grow and help the community.

Free workshops for artists held in May and June through the Vermont Arts Council’s Assets for Artists program.

Grants are expected to average $7,500, with awards of up to $12,000 to support a range of projects.

America 250 Rapid Response Grants, up to $1,000, are available on a rolling basis for community events happening between April 1 and July 31 or whenever funding runs out, whichever comes first.

Applications for financial support in 2026 are now being accepted. Please submit your application on or before April 10.

The South Lake Champlain Fund is offering grants for education and research projects focused on the cultural and ecological history of Southern Lake Champlain, with applications due March 24.
