Eagle running game wears down OV football

Saturday’s high school football game saw momentum shifts between Otter Valley and the cooperative Mount Abraham-Vergennes team. It turned the host Eagles’ way in the second half, when MAV outscored the Otters, 18-0, to claim a 36-27 victory.

In week two of local high school football action, Middlebury won big at home again, Mount Abraham/Vergennes added to its win column in a big way, and Otter Valley lost a home heartbreaker.

MAV football prevails over Mill River
